Xaman 3.0 allows us to build the best experience for you and ensures the long-term sustainability of both Xaman and XRPL Labs. As Xaman continues innovating within the XRPL framework, version 3.0 marks a new era for users and developers.

What’s New in Xaman 3.0?

♾️ Universal Transaction Signing

As the XRPL ecosystem grows and evolves, it's crucial that developers have the tools to keep pace. With the network moving faster and more dynamically, we recognized the need to ensure that Xaman doesn't become a bottleneck for innovation.

That's why we’re introducing Universal Transaction Signing in Xaman 3.0, a feature that allows developers to set up and connect to any network with different amendments enabled and sign transactions seamlessly.

This enables developers to experiment with new transaction types and amendments without waiting for updates, offering more flexibility and control. This means that Developers can now bring xApps and different solutions to the users even faster. With that in mind, this feature is only available if developer mode is enabled on the app.

🖼️ URIToken Support

This update also brings full support for URITokens on Xahau alongside NFTokens. Users can now view and manage their NFTs across networks that support URITokens, providing a more comprehensive digital asset experience.

🏗️ Major Refactoring and Improvements

We've also made extensive internal improvements to enhance app performance and reliability. These updates ensure that Xaman remains fast, secure, and user-friendly, setting a solid foundation for future enhancements.

Refreshed xApp Screen Design: The xApp screen now has a cleaner design for better visibility, helping users find the xApp they're looking for more easily. And we have also added a way to share xApps easily.

NFT Offer Previews: When signing any NFToken Accept, Cancel, or Create Offer transactions, a preview of the NFT involved will now be visible, enhancing transparency.

Detailed Transaction Information: We've improved how monetary details are displayed, providing more detailed transaction information when you visit a transaction in the app.

Easier Account Activation: We’ve simplified the account activation process, making it more straightforward for new users.

AMM Pool Interaction Enhancements: Experience smoother and more intuitive interactions with AMM pools.

Tangem + Regular Key Support: For read-only signing, we’ve added fallback support to Tangem, ensuring more flexibility and reliability.

Corrected Account Balance for Xahau Users: We've fixed the account balance calculation for Xahau users by deducting locked balances from the total balance.

We're introducing a new monetization model to continue delivering these features and more.

The most significant change in Xaman 3.0 is the introduction of our monetization strategy, which is a first for both us and our users. The monetization model is threshold-based and designed to support the continued development and sustainability of Xaman.

This ensures we can consistently provide the best self-custodial, feature-complete wallet experience, offering high-quality features and fast support. Only users who exceed a certain monthly usage level—typically power users or businesses—will be prompted to contribute via a nominal fee. This way, we ensure that everyone can continue to benefit from Xaman, regardless of their usage level.

“For those who use Xaman casually, the threshold-based model allows you to enjoy all the essential features of our wallet for free.”

The monetization approach includes two options:

• Threshold-Based Charging: Users can use the app for free up to a certain monthly usage threshold, after which a nominal fee will apply. The threshold for usage resets every month. This structure is fair and inclusive, accommodating different usage levels.

• Monthly Subscription: For those who would like to support the Xaman team every month, take advantage of an all-you-can-eat solution, and continuously support the team at XRPL Labs, we offer a monthly subscription model instead of the threshold-based charge. This allows users to use the app without constant billing interruptions.
